Hate to say it but you’re not Kevin Costner. Your customers don’t just wander in from the cornfield.
Founders fall into the trap of thinking like this way too often:
“Our product is better.”
“Our reviews are great.”
“Word of mouth will take over.”
But customers aren’t ghosts who appear when the lights turn on.
They’ve got loyalties, short attention spans, and a million other choices.
I’ve learned this first hand: great products don’t sell themselves. Visibility does.
Winning brands get this:
– Meet customers where they are
– Stay visible or risk disappearing
– Build trust before you sell
Those that win this game understand the product is just that start.
